She was a valued teacher at Baltimore County Public Schools for 17 years, as well as being an educator at the Waldorf School of Baltimore for 15 years, where she served on the board of trustees for 6 years. A mentor to her colleagues and a strong team leader, teaching was Alexandrea's passion. She was not only adored by her students, but by their families as well. When Alexandrea was not teaching, she loved to garden and spend time with her family, friends, and beloved pets on Oakland Farm.
