Alicia Hayward Gauger passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 while surrounded by her family. The Baltimore, Maryland resident was 44 years old. Alicia was the beloved daughter of her mother, Jacki Gauger and her partner Burt Shirey and her father, Daniel Gauger and his wife Denise; cherished sister of Laura Blizzard and her husband Jason; proud aunt of Cayden, Kaila, Khana and Kierce; dear stepsister of Joseph and Anthony Lattanzi and their families; adored niece of David Jockel, his wife Kathy and their daughter, Leah, David Gauger, his wife Tisha and their sons, Michael and Brian and Barbara Alderette, her husband Gustavo and their family. She is also survived by her spiritual husband and long time partner, Jeremy Reichwein and her beloved cat, Leo.

Alicia was a devoted art teacher with a passion for art and her students like no one else. The love for family, teaching, art and yoga not only fulfilled her days while she fought colon cancer, but also filled her heart. She was an inspiration to every person she ever met. Her life's mission was to spread joy which she did effortlessly.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Friday, October 8 from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM.
