Anna Ida Francis-Wood, of Cockeysville, Maryland peacefully passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026. She was 82 years old. Anna is survived by her husband, Mark N. Wood, her children, grandchildren, other extended relatives and many dear friends. She retired as a Registered Nurse after a long and fulfilling career. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Wednesday, April 22 from 10 AM - 12 PM with a Funeral Service officiated by Doug Restrick to begin at 12 PM. Interment will follow at McKendree Cemetery (Howard County). In lieu of flowers, please remember Anna with memorial contributions to an animal rescue charity of your choice.
