Arthur Herbert Becker, Jr., Ph.D. of Timonium, passed away on Thursday July 7, 2022, at the age of 68. Art received his doctorate degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in June of 1984.  After 34 years with the National Security Agency, he retired to spend time with his beloved wife Darlene Frances (nee Malinowski) Becker.  Together they enjoyed traveling, gardening and time spent on the family farm.  Besides his wife Darlene, Art is survived by his sister Nancy D. Miller and her husband Charles; their son Matthew Miller and his wife Lauren; their two children Levi and Madeline Miller.  He is also survived by his brother-in-law Walter B. Malinowski, Jr.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Tuesday July 12 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM where a Funeral Service will be held beginning at 1:00 PM.  Entombment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
