Barbara Ann Gillispie Wirtz went to be with her Lord on July 26, 2024. She was preceded in death by husband Edward G. Wirtz, daughter Donna L. Storke (Wirtz) and grandson Jonathan R. Storke. Barbara is survived by son John G. Wirtz and his wife Wendy, and daughter R. Christine Wirtz and her husband Nazim Mohammed, and her beloved grandchildren Fatima Wirtz Carstens and her husband Ben, Benjamin Storke and his wife Kristi, April Edwards, Macy E. and Aiden M. Wirtz.

Family and friends will gather at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 6 PM to 8:30 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Hereford Assembly of God Church, 1211 Mt. Carmel Road, Parkton, beginning at 11 AM. Light lunch to follow at Summit Manor 510 Monkton Road, Hereford, MD 21111.
