On Thursday, November 23, 2023, Mary "Betty" Elizabeth (nee Black) Francis, of Timonium, Maryland passed away. She was 100 years old. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Frederick O. Francis who preceded her in death in 2006; devoted mother of Thomas F. Francis and his wife Gayle, Barry A. Francis and the late Eileen C. Francis; dear sister of Nancy Leonard, the late Irene Hopkins, Roy Black, Genie Hoshall, Linton Black and Jane Dix; proud grandmother of Julie Spence, Brett Francis and Shaunna Francis. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 East Padonia Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Tuesday, November 28 beginning at 11 AM. A Memorial Service will be held at Timonium United Methodist Church, 2300 Pot Spring Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, January 6, 2024 beginning at 11 AM.
