Betty J. (nee Bridgeman) Freeland, of Phoenix, Maryland passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025 while surrounded by family. She was 89 years old. Betty was the beloved mother of John Blair, Debra Blair, Terry Blair, Glora K. Blair, Carol Niehaus and her husband Richard, and the late Cindy Caples; cherished grandmother of Dennis, Nick, Mark, Eric, Frankie, and the late Denny; proud great grandmother of Jenna and Emma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia (nee Clemons) and Carl Bridgeman and her sister, Helen Bridgeman.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Wednesday, March 26 from 10 AM – 12 PM with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Robert Groves to begin at 12 PM.
