On Wednesday, June 16, 2021, Betty Lou (nee Donohue) Young passed away. She was 94 years old. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 9, 1926 to the late Pauline (nee Snyder) and Terrence Donohue. Betty Lou was the beloved wife of the late J. Harry Young for 68 years before his passing in October 2016; loving and devoted mother of Jeffrey Harry Young; dear sister-in-law of the late Norma and Robert Riegger; aunt of Charles and Stephen Riegger. Betty Lou is also survived by many other loving family members.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Wednesday, June 30 from 10 – 11:45 AM with an informal funeral service to begin at 11:45 AM. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
