Beverly Ann (Dodge) Gesell, age 76 passed away on Thursday July 6th 2023 at home in Timonium, MD of natural causes.  She was born in Terra Alta, WV August 18, 1946 to Donald and Evelyn Dodge.  She grew up in Waters Edge in Dundalk, Maryland and graduated from Dundalk High School in 1964.  She married Edward Gesell in 1964, living in Dundalk, Essex, MD, North Hampton, PA and ultimately settling in White Hall, MD.

She worked as a marketing coordinator for a local engineering firm and was a founding member of Hunt Valley Baptist Church in Hunt Valley, MD.  She was a proficient seamstress and loved crocheting in her spare time.  She also enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Ed and her family members as well as attending church functions.

Beverly is survived by her two daughters Lori and her husband Bill Gutfleisch (York, PA) and their 5 children, Kyle, Erika, Holly, Maggie & Trudy; and Kara Gesell De Cesare and her husband Tony (Timonium, MD) and their two sons, Hunter and Dylan.  She was the great-grandmother to 8 great grandchildren: Edward, Jaxson, Melody, Declan, Alice, Emma, Nathan, and Maxwell.  She is also survived by lifelong friend, Fred Martienssen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hunt Valley Baptist Church (1800 Worthington Heights Pkwy, Hunt Valley, MD) on Saturday July 29th at 1pm to celebrate Bev's amazing life and all those who shared her journey over the last 76 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hunt Valley Baptist Church 1800 Worthington Heights Pkwy to continue their outreach ministry.
