Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, family member, and friend, who after a long and courageous two-year battle with cancer, passed peacefully on Friday, December 12 at 9:35 a.m., surrounded by loved ones.

He lived a life defined by service, dedication, and quiet strength. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, a chapter of his life that reflected his deep sense of duty and commitment to something greater than himself. He was also a proud member of VFW Post 6506, where he shared camaraderie with fellow veterans and continued his lifelong commitment to service. Closer to home, he dedicated many years as a volunteer firefighter with the Laurelton Fire House, selflessly serving his community and always answering the call to help others.

A true sports enthusiast, he was a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, New Jersey Devils, and New York Giants, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. He also had a deep love for playing sports himself, especially softball and soccer, which brought him joy, friendship, and a sense of competition he carried throughout his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Liz; his children, William and Heather; and his cherished grandchildren, Devin and Rowan, who brought him immense pride and happiness.

While his passing leaves a profound void, his legacy of service, love, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be planned for a time after the holidays, allowing family and friends to come together to honor, remember, and celebrate his remarkable life. Interment will be private.
