William "Bill" Bradley Reed, Jr.,

February 2, 1946 – December 27, 2023

Beloved husband of Pamela Reed, his wife of 45 years; cherished son of the late Jane Kluth Reed and William Bradley Reed, Sr.; dear brother-in-law of William Redmon, Jr. and the late Helen Brandt.

He attended the Saint Paul's School for Boys where he was a member of the choir at the Old Saint Paul's Church on Charles Street. He played varsity lacrosse at Saint Paul's and was awarded a lacrosse scholarship to Drexel University. He graduated from Drexel University with a Civil Engineering degree and worked for the Whiting-Turner Contracting Company for 45 years.

Bill participated in the Big Brother program for youth that needed guidance and direction.

Golf was his passion. As a long time member of the Piney Branch Golf Course, he served as a board member, 3 sides group and divot repair crew on Monday mornings.

Becoming a history buff, he began to travel to both domestic and international destinations. In addition to golf, Bill loved college and professional football and our beloved Oriole baseball team.

His commitment to his family and friends will always be remembered. He passed away peacefully at his home in Cockeysville.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 13717 Cuba Rd., Hunt Valley, Maryland 21030 on Thursday, January 11, 2024 beginning at 11 AM. Reception to follow.
