It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Kuper announces his passing on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 82, after an extended hospitalization and rehabilitation from hip replacement surgery.

Born November 1, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William and Erica Kuper, he was an only child and will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life and wife of 62 years, Dianne M. (nee Hays) Kuper.

Bill was an Army veteran having served as an MP in the Vietnam War, worked as a Sales Manager at Baltimore Stationery for many years and later for the Glover Sales Group in Cockeysville, Maryland.  He was an avid cat lover, having rescued many throughout his lifetime, (his favorite of which was Baxter), and was known for his anthology of well-worn jokes, including his "Pride and Joy" calling card.

To cherish his memory, Kuper as he was fondly known, leaves multiple sisters-in law, including his wife's twin Diana and her husband Bill Williams, Linda and her husband Steve Stark, Barbara Lamb, and Beverly Lyberger; a beloved bother-in-law Howard (Marty) Hays and his wife Jennifer, godchildren Tricia and Clint Hays, Christopher Idleman and Laura Wilkie as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, April 5 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM where a Funeral Service will be held beginning at 12:00 PM.  Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, please remember Bill with memorial contributions to the Defenders of Animal Rights, Inc. , 14412 Old York Road, Phoenix, Maryland.
