Bruce Edward
Alexander
d. Jan 27, 2026
On January 27, 2026, Bruce Edward Alexander passed away in Baltimore at the age of 75. He was the beloved husband of Susan E. Alexander, devoted father of Amy H. Alexander and the late Bennett E. Alexander, and cherished brother of Steven M. Alexander (Robbie), Jeffrey D. Alexander (Becky), and Beth A. Bois (Danny). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bruce was born in Bangor, Maine, to Phyllis M. Alexander and Edward L. Alexander. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1973 and served 5 years in the United States Navy before graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1981. He practiced law in the Baltimore/DC area until 2017.
Bruce was an avid and accomplished fisherman, as well as an enthusiastic outdoorsman who enjoyed boating, biking, and both water and alpine skiing. He loved vacationing in Maine, and as the established jack-of-all-trades father and uncle, was always in charge of rallying the kids for the day's adventure. Time with family was very important to Bruce, and his family will miss him dearly and cherish those memories.
