Bruce Charles
Majka
d. Apr 20, 2026
Bruce Charles Majka of Parkton, Maryland passed away in the early hours of April 20th, 2026 at 67 years old. Bruce was at home being cared for by his loving wife, Connie Jean Majka (nee Clevenger), of 37 years who he is survived by, as well as his two children, Nicholas Majka and Samantha Cole (Majka), and two grandchildren.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 19th, 1958 Bruce attended Mount Saint Joe Highschool, graduating in 1976 before receiving an Associates degree in Business Administration in 1979 from the Community College of Baltimore County in Dundalk. He also received a Certificate from Villanova University in 2007. Bruce worked proudly and diligently in Quality Assurance fields for multiple companies throughout his life, always praised for his work ethic and attention to detail. He took immense pride in his work and cared deeply for his coworkers, earning him recognition for his efforts often both professionally and personally.
Bruce's infectious smile and laugh, accompanied by his humor and willingness to make light of situations, won him friends everywhere he went and in every facet of his life. He always had time for those he cared for, supporting his friends and family at every opportunity, and regularly putting others before himself. In his free time, Bruce loved to tend to his gardens, care for the wild bluebirds that would nest in the backyard, and cheer his favorite sports teams.
Bruce was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a caring human - truly a shining example of humility, care, and joy. He will be remembered incredibly fondly by those whose lives he touched.
Bruce is predeceased by his parents, the late Boleslaus William Majka and late Anna Mary Majka (Panzer). He was the fifth of sixth children, having been survived by Bernard, Martha, Donald, Ramona, and Christopher. As well as immediate family, Bruce is survived by many others, including various sisters- and brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews, many of whom have been extremely supportive during this difficult time.
