On Saturday June 25, 2022, Carlea Katherine Botta age 79 of Towson, Maryland. Beloved wife of the late Francis Xavier Botta; devoted mother of Mary K. Botta, Laura A. Lorenz, and Tony P. Botta; cherished grandmother of Katie Lorenz and Mary Lorenz; dear sister of Kate Trask and her husband Don, Martin Langhirt, Jr., and Susan Hamilton.

Carlea enriched all three children in culture, literature, and the arts. She was an active volunteer at school, and her children's activities, all while taking care of her husband who was a double transplant recipient. Her interests included quilting, knitting, and home decorating. She will always be remembered as a kind and gentle person.
