Carole C.
Forwood
d. Jul 21, 2024
On July 21,2024, our hearts were heavy as we bid farewell to Carole C. Forwood, 84 of Nottingham, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who peacefully joined her late husband in eternal rest. Cherished wife of the late James Lawrence Forwood, beloved mother of Jeffrey Forwood and his wife Kelly, Jennifer Wheeler and her husband Scott and Jacqueline Ryan and her husband Brendan, loving grandmother of Bridget Ryan, Nathaniel Forwood and his wife Suzy, Michael Forwood and his wife Baylie, Caitlin Evans and her husband Alex, Parker Wheeler, Megan Wheeler, Gabriel Forwood, Christopher Forwood and Emily Ryan, loving great-grandmother of Ruth Forwood.
Carole was a beacon of love and strength throughout her life. Her passing marks a poignant reunion with James (Larry) Forwood, whom she dearly missed since his departure. Their love story was one of devotion and companionship spanning 27 years and now they are together once more, their spirits intertwined for eternity.
Carole's spirit of generosity extended beyond her family as she was deeply involved with her community. She was an active PTA parent, Homeroom Mom, Brownie Troop Leader, Little League Team Mom, Neighborhood Community Member... no need was too small or too large that she wouldn't rise to fill it.
Her children, Jeffrey, Jennifer, and Jacqueline remember her as not only a loving selfless mother but also as a second mother to all who walked through their front door. Carole took many a teenager under her wing without question or thought, nurtured and loved them as her own. Her family and close friends were her pride and joy and she found immense happiness in their achievements and milestones. Carole's presence in their lives was a source of comfort and guidance, her love a constant beacon of hope. As they've all gotten older, moved to different states, and with grandchildren in college, Carole continued to be a force in their lives and let her presence be known through her written letters, phone calls, a Face Book post...or two, and her daily texts. There was never a doubt that she was thinking of you and sending her love.
As Carole reunites with Larry, she leaves behind a void that can only be filled by the memories of her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. While we mourn her physical absence, we rejoice in knowing that Carole and Larry are together once more, their spirits reunited in the embrace of eternal peace and her broken heart finally mended.
A Visitation will be held at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Center, 2325 York Road in Timonium, on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11:00AM until 12:00PM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00PM.
