On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, Carolyn Marie Obrigkeit, of Phoenix, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Obrigkeit, Sr. for 68 years; devoted mother of Frederick Obrigkeit, Jr., Karen Beckley and the late William Obrigkeit; loving grandmother of 2, great grandmother of 4 and great-great grandmother of 5, dear sister of Reeda Kirby and the late Myrna Morosko.

The most important thing in Carolyn’s life was her family and her animals, especially her horses. She also loved all flowers and had a passion for gardening. If you were ever sick, hungry or had any other issues, she was the sweetest lady you’d ever meet and her door was always open to anyone, having the biggest heart ever. She also cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. No one ever had a bad word to say about her as she enjoyed her amazing life.

A Visitation will be held at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Center, 2325 York Road, Timonium, on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 4-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 12PM with Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn’s name to the charity of your choice.
