Obituary

On November 3, 2026, Carolyn Strzelczyk, 88, passed away at Arden Courts of Towson.

A lover of art and culture, Carolyn Strzelczyk never failed to live her life by another's term. Born in Tyler, Texas on December 24, 1937. Carolyn was the second and last daughter of Ross and Mary. Growing up alongside her sister Beth and brother Henry, she would develop a quick wit and iron will.

The mother of three, wonderful though at times mischievous boys, Phillip Ireton, Sean McLellan and Kenny McLellan.

Carolyn was never afraid to speak her mind, and at a young age found herself involved in women's rights, Southern Politics and a litany of causes over a distinguished just shy of her 89 year life.

After two marriages which tested and grew Carolyn she would find the love of her life, Frank Adam Strzelczyk. And after a quick romance the two would wed together. Carolyn, now Ms. Strzelczyk, soon found new causes and joys in her Baltimore home though she never forgot her southern roots.

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of such an impactful and strong-willed woman, but it is with vigorous joy that we celebrate a life lived by few.

A Visitation will be held at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Center, 2325 York Road, Timonium, MD, on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 from 11 AM until 12 PM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12 PM. Entombment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
