Charles Edward Busse, known by family and close friends as Jack, died peacefully at his home at Broadmead on January 23 ^rd , 2022 after a lengthy battle with Multiple Myeloma. Jack was born on the 4 ^th of July in 1938 to Hilda and William Busse of Essex, Maryland.  He is a graduate of Kenwood High School and the University of Maryland School of Engineering.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Maryann, his son John (wife, Jennifer) of Lutherville, his daughter Kristen (husband, Zach Povey) of Vail, Colorado, and his grandchildren Garrett and Kate Busse.  He is also survived by his sister, Betty Hunter, of Forest Hill, Maryland and several nieces and nephews.

Jack was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church and a private memorial will be held there at a later date.
