Charles Oyedemi Oluokun of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022. He was 71 years old. Born to Joseph Oluokun and Deborah Oluokun on May 17th, 1951, in Ondo State, Nigeria. Charles was the beloved husband of Dorothy Oluokun; loving father of Abayomi, Ayobami, Adebayo, Deborah, Joseph, Michael, and Charles Jr.; cherished grandfather of Dasha, Sophia, Yasmin, Jonelle, Isaiah, Ezekiel and Isaac; treasured brother to Omowumi Okewole, Ademola Oluokun, Adejoke Adeyemo, Adebowale Oluokun, Olugbenga Oluokun, Bolanle Oluokun, Adenike Salami, Adeyemi Oluokun, Adepoju Oluokun. As a professor of civil engineering at the Naval Academy, George Washington University and Morgan State University and a lobbyist for numerous causes in the United States Senate, Charles' actions have made a positive impact on countless lives across the country.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, October 8, 2022, with viewings from 9-10 AM and Service from 10-11 AM. There will also be a Service of Songs held at Jesus House DC, 919 Philadelphia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910 on Friday, October 7 from 7-8:30 PM. The burial will take place at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 East Padonia Road, Timonium, MD 21093 on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 12 PM.
