Charles "Charlie" William Miller, Jr., age 76, of Lutherville, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Born in 1950 in Jacksonville, Maryland to Bill and Myrtle Miller, Charlie was a man of faith and family. He enjoyed anything with wheels, be it motorcycles or cars, and was active with the Jaycees and the Jacksonville Volunteer Fire Department. Being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in his 20's did not change Charlie's outlook on life, and he taught himself to cook by watching tv shows. He developed a love for cruising, grilling, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, growing his faith in God, and was an avid reader. Charlie adored his grandchildren and spent many hours watching them. He used his time for volunteer work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the MS Society, and the church.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy (nee Becker) Miller, son Matthew (his wife, Lauren), grandchildren Levi and Maddie, and sister Susan (her husband, Dennis) Powers. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will celebrate his life at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Thursday, March 12, 2026. The family will receive friends from 11 AM-12 PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 12 PM. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please remember Charlie with memorial contributions to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sweet Air or to the Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company.
