Mr. Chong Yon Hwang, age 78, of Towson, Maryland passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Sang Sun Hwang for 47 years; cherished father of Michael Hwang and his wife Nearry and the late In Yong Hwang; and proud grandfather of Zoe and Callie Hwang. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Thursday, August 8th from 5-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Korean Martyrs Catholic Church, 5801 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland, 21207 on Friday, August 9th beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
