Christopher Charles Nelson, of Timonium, Maryland, passed away at home on Sunday, November 20, 2022, 3 weeks before his 70 ^th birthday. Chris was the loving son of Charles R. Nelson and the late Lorraine (Jennings) Nelson.

Chris had a love of all types of music and a green thumb in the garden. The plants under his care were beautiful.. He managed to keep his Grandmother's fig trees thriving to this day. And oh how he and his Mom loved those figs!

One year, Chris took up the hobby of making birdhouses. They hung from just about every tree in his backyard. And he always wanted to share what he made with other family members. Every spring, there was a new family of birds enjoying those houses. He loved to feed the birds, squirrels and rabbits that came to his yard.

His past few years were devoted to taking care of his parents and most recently doting on his father. Chris always made sure that Dad's morning cup of coffee was waiting for him when he got up and all of his medications in order. They shared a love of classic films.

Chris is survived by his cherished daughters, Kate Lorraine Nelson and Sarah Nelson Chambers. He was a proud Granpa to Leland, Finley, Natalie and Felix. His thoughtful former spouse, Diane Tindilia, kept her concern for Chris throughout his illness.

Chris will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Pamela Barry (Joseph) and his brother, John Nelson (Joan), along with many nieces and nephews. And he will always be remembered for his quick witty sense of humor and generous spirit.
