On May 25th, 2023, Comfort Adedotun Fagbuyi passed away peacefully at age 67 after a long battle with heart failure. Her final moments were spent with her three children, Jide, Tayo, and Tolu Fagbuyi at the William L. and Victorine Q. Adams Gilchrist Hospice Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mrs. Fagbuyi was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family, friends, and loved ones. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help regardless of the situation.

She was born on January 6, 1956, to Okeowo and Olubowale Dorcas Obasa.  She grew up in Ibadan, Nigeria with her mother, stepfather, and siblings Oluwaremilekun Morenikeji Ajayi, Olusola Modupe Sogunro, and Shino Obasa.  Comfort spent her youth working hard in order to put herself through school while taking care of her siblings and managed to do so while working for the first bank of Nigeria.

She is known for her strength, endearing and inspirational personality, she will be truly missed by all who experienced her.  Her children ask that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.

A public viewing will be held at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, June 17th from 10 AM until 11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held on the same day, the venue is Cliché Events (the start time is 4 pm) located at 5503 Reisterstown Road Baltimore, Maryland 21215.
