On March 7, 2026,  Delores "Dee" Cavanaugh (nee Donovan) of Timonium, MD cherished wife for 52 years of the late Judge Patrick Cavanaugh; devoted mother of Judge Colleen Cavanaugh (Michael Warshaw), Dr. Kelly Niermeier (Michael) and Kerry Rice (G. Randolph Rice, Jr.); loving Grammy of Bridget Sieber (Hunter), Brett Niermeier, Claire Niermeier, Kevin Warshaw (Annabel Hungate), Ryan Warshaw, Rex Rice, Charlotte Rice and Leland Rice; devoted sister of Patricia "Patsy" Wittig (nee Donovan) and Donna "Cookie" Hoffman (nee Donovan), left this earth to join her late husband, mother and father in heaven.

A Time of Gathering will be held at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, 2325 York Road Timonium, MD 21093, on Friday, March 13th from 10AM to 11AM with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11AM. Dee volunteered many hours with children at St. Vincent's Villa and My Sister's Place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to St. Vincent's Villa and My Sister's Place .
