In loving memory of Denise "Neesie" Jackson, who passed away on Tuesday, November 19th, 2024.

She was born on December 10, 1954 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and raised in Maryland with her eight brothers and sisters. She attended Northern High School in Baltimore, graduating class of 1973. She went on to serve in the army, before working for thirty years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in San Antonio, TX and Baltimore, MD.

Denise dedicated her life to her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Nicole, her treasured grandchildren, Asa and Maya, her siblings Kurt, Marianne, Donna, Dorothea, Mark, and Lisabeth, as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Denise loved dogs. She was an avid reader who would often go through a book a day. She had a fun-loving, giving nature, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She made friends wherever she went, and kept in touch with long-time childhood friends. Her humor, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We will cherish the memories we shared with her forever.

A memorial service will be held on December 10th, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Towson Unitarian Universalist Church, located at 1710 Dulaney Valley Rd, Lutherville, MD 21093.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Baltimore County Public Library or Enoch Pratt Free Library.
