Diane Wood (Miller) Curtis of Sparrows Point & Joppatowne, Maryland, passed away peacefully on December 21st, 2023.  She was born on March 29th, 1943 to Edward & Evelyn Miller, and is one of five children.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Evelyn, and three brothers, Douglas, Dennis, and Michael.  She is survived by her brother Mark Miller, her three children, Shane Curtis, Christopher Curtis, and Genene Barrett, and her 7 grandchildren, Sara, Jacob, Allison, Harlan, Trevor, Sela, and Mariah.

Diane graduated from Sparrows Point High School and the St. Joseph's School of Nursing.  She spent her entire career in nursing, caring for others and helped to pioneer the home hospice movement in Maryland, so individuals with terminal illness could live the remainder of their lives with dignity, at home, and surrounded by loved ones.

There will be no services at this time, however a Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.
