Dolores Sirny Crujeiras, 81, of Cockeysville, MD, passed away on November 8, 2025.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1944 to William and Elizabeth Sirny, Dolores grew up in the city's "Great Northeast" alongside her brother, William Sirny Jr., and a lively household of birds, turtles, and rescue dogs.

Dolores graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, earned her BA from Kutztown University, and later completed her MBA at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She dedicated the majority of her career to public service, working as an analyst for the U.S. Government in the Health Care and Financing Administration Division.

Guided by a deep sense of compassion, Dolores volunteered for fifteen years at Stella Maris Hospice, offering comfort, presence, and kindness to those in need. She found joy in the arts, travel, culture, and the rescue of animals. She cherished time spent playing mahjong with friends, and above all, she loved to laugh.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and her brother. She is survived by her devoted husband, Juan Crujeiras; her daughter, Jessica Crujeiras, and her husband, James Davis; and her son, Alex Crujeiras.

A celebration of her life will be held in early 2026.
