Donald Lee Harting of Parkton, Maryland passed away on Monday January 6, 2025, at the age of 79.  Don was proud to be in the first graduating class of Woodlawn Senior High in 1963.  He served one tour in the U.S. Army serving in Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam.  He retired with almost 30 years of service working for the Social Security Administration and Health Care Finance Administration.  He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania.  He was an avid fisherman, photographer and loved being out in nature.  Don loves Jesus, his Lord and Savior with all his heart.

Don is survived by his beloved wife Laura (nee Offutt) Harting of 32 years; devoted son Jeremy Adam Harting and his wife Melissa; stepsons Luke Wilhelm and his wife Kajsa Bjoern and Justin Wilhelm; grandfather of Hadley and Harper Harting and Jaxson Wilhelm.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday January 18 from 10 AM until 12 PM with a Funeral Service beginning at 12 PM.  Interment to follow at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please remember Don with memorial contributions to Grace Fellowship Church Shrewsbury or the York Regional Dream Center.
