Dorothy Mae Shipley, age 86, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2021, in Towson, MD.

Born in Hamilton, OH, daughter of the late Jesse & Nancy Shipley, she moved to Baltimore as a young woman. She graduated with her teaching degree from University of MD and began her career in education in the Baltimore County Public School system. She was a grade school teacher and then a well respected Principal at several schools in the county. After retiring from her first career, she went on to a very successful career in real estate.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven K. Shipley and her brother, George Shipley. She is survived by her only grandchild, Jessica K. Shipley and a host of close friends and family members.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
