Obituary

Elizabeth Audrey Moore

September 16, 1947 – July 21, 2025

Elizabeth Audrey Moore, a woman of strength, unwavering love, and timeless grace, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born on September 16, 1947, known to family and friends as "Audie," she was a steady presence and a warm heart - someone who listened intently, loved deeply, and gave generously. Her laughter was genuine, her words thoughtful and sometimes snarky, but always with humor and grace. Her guilty pleasures were shoes, Cheaters, Criminal Minds, and Perry Mason. She loved anything with "Bling" and in her prime, she could spot name brands like it was her job. She loved Christmas Traditions, shopping, spoiling her grandchildren, and eating out.

Throughout her life, Audrey wore many hats: devoted daughter, beloved sister, loyal wife, and, above all, a loving mother, as well as Grammie to Allen, Hannah, Jackson, Bradley, Madelyn, Esmeralda, and Julianna, and to countless extended family members and friends.

Audrey had a remarkable ability to make everyone she approached see the world through her wit, humor, and an open heart, often putting others' needs before her own. Like her daughters, she had an odd sense of humor and a personal idealism on right and wrong.

Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched, in every act of kindness, every moment of understanding, and every memory cherished.

She is survived by her loving family and many dear friends who will miss her deeply but find comfort in knowing that she is reunited with our Dad and many other family members watching from above. She will be missed by her loving son-in-law, Luby, who served her Chai Latte every single morning, told her all of his lawyer stories, made her laugh, and almost always said yes to any plans she wanted to make, her daughter, April, who as her primary caregiver, helped her carry the mental, physical, and emotional load until the very end, her Grandson Allen who was loved deeply as her pride and joy and loved her fiercely in return, her daughter Autumn who shares her odd sense of humor, love of uncompleted crafts, and collection of pictures through the years, her son-in-law David (Roloff) who was always up for a ride or a store anytime, and her granddaughters Ese and Jeeta who loved sharing her make-up and ordering Amazon with her, but most of all loved ending their day with a FaceTime and a song!

A celebration of life will be held in her honor by her family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Berman Cancer Institute at GBMC in memory of E. Audrey Moore should be made directly to Oncology Support @ Donate to GBMC Philanthropy

Celebration: Open House style to stop in, share some memories and conversations, and of course, some food and drink. Ever the party planner, we will be having her favorite meal, breakfast! April's home, Sunday, August 24th, from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. All are welcome.

Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. To the moon and back, she was loved!
