On October 19, 2026; Elizabeth Jean Essel, 88, devoted wife of the late Andrew Jacob Essel, Sr., cherished mother of Vicki Clark and her late husband Brock and Andy J. Essel, Jr. and his wife Joyce, beloved grandmother of Anthony (John) Moskunas and his wife Gisile Oliveira, Angela Cooper and her husband Matt, Chris Moskunas and his wife Catie, Katherine Essel and her husband Stephen Elswick and Kristen Essel, loving great-grandmother of Ella and Evelyn Cooper, and Jace, Jaelyn and Kailyn Moskunas, loving sister of Berniece Anderson.

A Visitation will be held at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Center, 2325 York Road, Timonium, MD, on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 2 PM-4 PM and 6 PM-8 PM. Mrs. Essel will Lie-in-State at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Road, Phoenix, MD on Monday, October 26, 2026 from 10 AM until 11 AM, with a funeral service beginning at 11 AM.
