Obituary

Elliott Ross Coleman, of Towson, Maryland passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the age of 74. He was the beloved son of the late Rev. Benjamin and Clara Coleman; loving brother of John C. Coleman and his wife Janet, Robert H. Coleman and his wife Anne and Mary Alice Bond and her husband Geoffrey; proud uncle of Danielle Deady, Joshua and Nicholas Bond and the late Ben Coleman and his surviving wife Siya Best; cherished great uncle of Conor Deady.

Elliott taught elementary students in the Baltimore City Public School system and sang in the choir at St Ann's Catholic Church and New All Saints Catholic Church in Baltimore. He enjoyed classical music, playing tennis and was an environmental enthusiast, always making sure that the space around him was clean and welcoming. Elliott also wrote and self published a book titled "The Case for the Color Black" which took 40 years of hard work, dedication, and editing before he was satisfied. He worked for Manpower and was a census taker on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He was a devoted caregiver, had a huge and kind heart and will be missed by all who knew him.
