On May 6, 2023, Emily Ann Walton (nee Dorsch), 81, of Baldwin, passed away. Emily was the loving wife of John Thomas P. Walton, Jr; devoted mother of Kristen Walton and the late C. Christopher Fullem, Wendi Belcher and her husband Jonathan and Tara Whitehurst and her husband Ron, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Thomas, Jo and Dillon Belcher, and Colbie and Shelbie Whitehurst; dear sister of Milton Dorsch and his wife Barbara.

Emily was a devoted wife of 59 years, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a kind, loving, and empathetic mom mom who always went above and beyond for her grandchildren. She never missed a beat and was always there to lend a hand, provide comfort in times of need and take care of others before herself. Emily graduated from Eastern High School class of 1960. She had a 50-year career as a nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She was a very spiritual woman and an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sweet Air. She will be missed by so many but remain in our hearts forever.

Friends are invited to Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 for a Receiving of Friends on Friday, May 12, 2023, from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. There will be a Receiving of Friends on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at St. John's Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Road, Phoenix, from 10-11 A.M. with a Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Emily's name may be made to the St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
