Obituary

Estelle passed away peacefully in her sleep at Gilchrist Center in Towson MD, in the presence of her Brother Dean and Cousin Renee, who both were by her side for the last 6 years of her illness. She is survived by several God-Children who were her pride and joy, through their life accomplishments.  She is also survived by many Cousins and Life Long Friends. Estelle was born in Baltimore MD, in 1944 and was the pride and joy of her Parents Bill and Dorothy. Estelle worked in private industry for 17 years, and retired after 35 years of working for the United States Federal Department of Defense, Defense Contracts Baltimore Office. Estelle made instant friends wherever she went including the assisted living facility where she lived for over 3 years.  She was loved by her fellow residents and staff.

Family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, MD on Wednesday November 10, 2021 from 4-8 PM with a Trisagion Service beginning at 6 PM.  Miss Demetrakis will Lie-in-Repose on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 10-10:30 AM at the Chapel of the Holy Resurrection at The Greek Orthodox Cemetery, 5917 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21207, followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 10:30 AM. Entombment at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Woodlawn, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Annunciation Philoptochos Society, 24. W. Preston Street, Baltimore MD.
