Evelyn Mae Nimmo (née Mavris) of Baltimore and Easton, Maryland passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Evelyn leaves behind her loving husband, Lawrence Nimmo; devoted mother of Efroseni Deguzman and her husband Ronnie, Anastasia Kokotis, and the late Christina Kokotis; loving stepmother of Ashley Nimmo, and Caroline Hendricks and her husband Travis; cherished grandmother of Roman Hammonds, Liam Deguzman, Remy Hendricks and Raelyn Hendricks; beloved sister of Barbara Mavris Fourtinakis, Maria Mavris Avery, and Mark Mavris. Preceded in death by her parents, Isidoros and Georgia Helen Mavris. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers from Fila where she worked as a highly valued systems analyst for 15 years.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Thursday, November 2 from 6-8 PM with a Trisagion Service beginning at 7 PM. Evelyn will lie in state at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2504 Cub Hill Road, Parkville, Maryland 21234 on Friday, November 3 from 10-10:30 AM with a Funeral Service beginning at 10:30 AM.  Interment to follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
