Obituary

FRANCINE IRENE MOYE, lovingly known as "Fran" was born May 25, 1961, to Nancy Jane Moye (Clark) and William Moye Sr. in Baltimore, Maryland. Fran peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Fran was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. She was a graduate of Walbrook High School, class of 1980. As an adult, Fran obtained her Med Tech Certification, Cosmetology license, and worked diligently as a caregiver at Hampton Meadows Assisted Living. Growing up, Fran enjoyed traveling to North Carolina during the summer to spend time with her family. She had stories for days about her summers in North Carolina. Fran was genuinely loved and respected for her authentic and life of the party spirit. As someone who always "kept it real" Fran was also known for always showing genuine love to those around her. Fran's number one hobby was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, who she was affectionately known to as "Nana". Anybody who knew Fran, also knew about her infamous beer balls. Fran found comfort while in the kitchen as she enjoyed cooking some of her favorite dishes. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet we do not sorrow at those who have no hope but rejoice in knowledge that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Fran was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Jane Moye, father, William Moye Sr., three brothers, John Moye, William Moye Jr, & Kenneth Moye, and her youngest son Marcel Saunders.

Fran is survived by her life partner Paul Saunders Sr., six children; Paul Saunders Jr., Courtney Truesdale (son in law Damien Truesdale Sr.), Jeremy Saunders, Shykilah Saunders, Sierra Saunders and Nikita Saunders.; 10 beautiful grandchildren (Elijah, Paris, London, Peyton, Jerlia, TJ, Kaion, Carmen, Khalil, & Damien Jr (DJ); siblings Jacqueline Moye & Linwood Moye,; her favorite furry friend Mia, and a host of extended family and friends.
