Frank S. Locke, of the Edenwald Retirement Community, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, while surrounded by his family. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years C. Dorinda (nee Coleman) Locke; and children Kenneth Walter Locke and his wife Heather, Susan Locke Kee, Steven David Locke and his wife Margaret Keane and John Edward Locke and his wife Karen; and ten grandchildren.

Frank was born February 25, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Walter and Irene May Siegfried Locke. He grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and graduated as a mechanical engineer from the University of Delaware. He then served as a 1st Lieutenant in the US Army in the Korean War.

After he was Honorably discharged, he enrolled in the Wharton School. It was there he met his future wife on a blind date at a Delaware football game. He graduated with a Masters Degree of Business Administration in May 1955 and married Dorinda in June.

Frank began his career working for GE, Sun Shipbuilding and RCA; moving from Ohio to New York to Pennsylvania. He then moved to Timonium, Maryland where he worked for Black and Decker until he retired after 30 years.

A lifelong golfer, Frank was a Charter Member of Towson Golf & CC and enjoyed many rounds there and in Florida.

All services and the interment will be private.
