Glenn Marie Marinduque Salas, age 23, of Lutherville-Timonium, passed away on July 28, 2022.

Marie was born on May 1, 1999 in Davao City, Philippines to Sandy and Glenda Salas. She grew up with her brothers Gabe and Ivan. Being immigrants from the Philippines, family was scarce. The family Marie had in the United States was her aunt Jennifer Marinduque, a newly appointed sister, Paige Willitts, her cousins, who are considered as her brothers, Joshua and Julie Michael Marinduque, and her nephew and niece, Michael and Penelope, whom she would spoil very much. Regardless of distance, she was also watched by the Ruiz Family, Marinduque family, and the Guiterrez Family. Growing up, she loved spending her time playing lacrosse and interacting with family and friends. After graduating from Dulaney High School in 2017, she attended the University of Notre Dame of Maryland to study Nursing, graduating in 2021.

Marie was the type of person who would go the "extra mile" in helping others. Striving to be a kind and caring person was an important quality to Marie and she certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving her family and friends. No matter what, she would prioritize others before herself, a great quality as a nurse.

Marie is survived by her parents, Glenda and Sandy Salas, her brothers, Gabe and Ivan, and was preceded in passing by her brother, Angelo, Lola Esther, Lolo Eddie, and Lolo Manuel.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Sunday, August 7 from 2-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Father John Jumamoy will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 20 E. Ridgely Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Monday, August 8 beginning at 11 AM. Her family will be present to welcome loved ones and friends. Interment will be private.
