Grace Evelyn Mentzer, age 93, of Parkton, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was born on June 3, 1932, in White Marsh, Maryland. Grace was known for her kind heart, big laugh, and dedication to her family.

She is survived by her three children, William Mentzer, Ronald Mentzer (wife, Cathy Mentzer), and Paula Crabbe (husband, Ronald Crabbe); and four grandchildren, Jennifer Pielert (husband, Noah Pielert), Joseph Mentzer (wife, Sarah Mentzer), Bryan Crabbe (wife, Gracie Crabbe), and Lauren Mentzer. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; Brayden and Ava Pielert, Ethan, Henry, and Elizabeth Mentzer, and Carter Crabbe. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Delores Diffrient (husband, Roy Diffrient). She was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and William Messenger; her husband Donald Eckert Mentzer; her brother William Messenger (wife, Eleanor); her sister, Rudy Eurice (husband, Elmer Eurice); and her son, Donald Mentzer (surviving wife, Stefanie Mentzer).

Grace enjoyed fishing, crabbing, boating, and spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday, March 28 from 9:30-11:30 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens, 1021 Bird River Road, Baltimore, Baltimore 21220.
