Harry Lee Thompson, III of Towson passed away on Wednesday September 3, 2025, at the age of 90.  Beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Hartzell) Thompson of 65 years; devoted father of Mary C. Nicklin and her husband Michael, Anne M. Messina and her husband Michael, Jeanie Thompson Stambaugh; the late Teresa M. Thompson, the late Thomas "Tony" A. Thompson and the late Thomas L. Thompson; brother of Catherine "Kitty" Barranco and the late David Thompson; grandfather of Anthony and Joseph Messina and Haley Stambaugh.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Sunday, September 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier, 13717 Cuba Road, Hunt Valley, Maryland 21030 on Monday, September 8 beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please remember Harry with memorial contributions to the Maryland Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation .
