Helen Delores (nee Duncan) Martin passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Gardner, Jr. and William "Bill" Martin; cherished mother of Deborah "Deb" Smith and her husband William "Ed" and the late Denise McCartin and her late husband David, Sr.; proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren; loving sister of Patricia "Pat" Groves, the late Edward Duncan and Lloyd Duncan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Monday, February 2 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Bob Groves will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
