Howard "Hottsy" Carl Almony, Jr. of Timonium passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at the age of 70.  Howard served for 20 years as a lieutenant at the Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Company.  He enjoyed racing his 1969 Roadrunner which was painted Fire Department Safety Yellow.  In addition to volunteering at the Fire Company, he enjoyed working as an auto mechanic, truck driver and welder.

He was loved by many.  He was the loving companion of Barbara D. McBride for 45 years.  He was also survived by his loving dog "Penny".
