On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, James "Big Jim" Harry Franzoni, age 94, of Phoenix, MD passed away. He retired as a roadway and bridge project Engineer from the State of Maryland, and the City of Baltimore. He was an honorably discharged veteran with the United States Army National Guard.  Beloved husband of the late Constance "Connie" Regina (nee Smrcina) Franzoni for 68 years; loving and devoted father of James "Jim" A. Franzoni and his wife Cindy; adored grandfather of Christopher Franzoni and his partner Stan Kimmel, Clayton Franzoni and Cameron Franzoni. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive friends at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Center, P.A., 2325 York Rd., Timonium, MD 21093 on Friday, April 14 from 5-8 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Church of the Nativity, 20 E. Ridgely Road, Timonium, MD 21093 on Saturday, April 15 beginning at 10:30 AM. Inurnment private.
