James "Jim" Allen Paul, of Middle River, Maryland passed away on Thursday January 29, 2026 at the age of 62.  Jim was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Beloved husband of Sandy E. (nee Kurgan) of 34 years; devoted father of Addye Paul; beloved brother of David Hartman, Denise Lucarano and her husband Jesse and the late Joyce Adolfo; loving brother-in-law of Carl Kurgan and his wife Stephanie and Jimmy Kurgan and his wife Missy. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, please remember James with memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
