James Joseph Schirmer, Jr. of Cockeysville passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the age of 86.  Beloved husband of Patricia I. (nee Gambo) Schirmer; devoted father of Jennifer M. Thuman and her husband Joe, Valerie Moorefield and the late Christine Malone; brother of Winton Knicely and his wife Annette, Josephine Mnielczarek and Edna "Sis" Wetzel; grandfather of Caroline, Abigail, Melissa, Billy, Mallory and Bradley; great grandfather of Caitlin and Nora.
