Janice E. Mattare, age 78, of Thurmont, Maryland, formerly of York, Pennsylvania and Baltimore, Maryland peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (nee Lein) Mattare; devoted mother of Todd Schilling and his wife Linda and Bridget Schilling; proud "Grandy" of Logan and Bryce Schilling; loving sister of Mary Ellen Schiavo, Margaret "Peggy" Mattare, SSND and the late Catherine Mattare.
