On Thursday, October 27, 2022, Jean Algier, age 84, passed away.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Donald Keith Algier. She is survived by four sisters, Anne Nye, Maria Moxley, Frances Johnson (husband, Billy), Rose Byrd (husband, Brian), and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was a graduate of Towson State College and was a career teacher in Baltimore County, Maryland. In retirement, she spent her time between Cockeysville, Maryland and Port St. Lucie, Florida.  She was a docent at La Du, in Baltimore, enjoyed playing bridge, going on outings with her sorority sisters, doing crossword puzzles, and raising her terrier dogs.  She was also an artist and pianist. She was beloved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Services and interment will be private.
