Jeffery was born on December 15, 1952, to Samuel and Ollie Mae Bruton in Baltimore, MD. He lived a life defined by dedication, humility, intelligence, and most importantly, love for his family. On March 25, 2026, Jeffery peacefully passed leaving behind a legacy that will continue through the people he loved most.

Jeffery and Kimberly were married for 45 years, together they built a family grounded in love, patience, and strength. To this union they had two daughters, Jessica Bruton and Allison Bruton Price. His daughters knew they could rely on him, look up to him, and feel comfort and love in his steady presence. His heart grew even fuller as a grandfather to Hayden and Brycen Price, who brought him joy, laughter, and endless pride as he watched them grow.

Jeffery valued education and knowledge. He earned his Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Cincinnati, reflecting his natural curiosity and dedication to learning. That passion carried into his professional life, where he became an accomplished scientist at Becton Dickinson. Over the course of his career, he earned several patents, contributing to medical innovations that helped improve lives. His work was meaningful, but he carried his accomplishments with humility. He simply worked hard, stayed committed, and did his part to make the world better.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ollie Mae Bruton, and his brothers Samuel Bruton Jr., Stephen Bruton, Michael Bruton, and Richard Bruton. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Kimberly Johnson Bruton; his daughters, Jessica Bruton and Allison Bruton Price; his son-in-law, McQuail Price; his grandsons, Hayden and Brycen Price; his brothers, Harold and Clifford Bruton; his sister, Kimberly E. Bruton; and a host of relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Peaceful Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Center, 2325 York Road, Timonium, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 10 AM until 11 AM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
