Jewell Atchley George was born in Maryland on August 8, 1932. She passed peacefully on October 28, 2024, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Ada Atchley, her late husband William Robert George, Sr., son, William (Robb) George, Jr., sister, Jeanne Yvonne Baer and brothers, Dennis and Dale Atchley.

Jewell survived by her loving child Jeanne Yvonne George (Chris Brockman) and adoring granddaughter Lindsay Taylor George and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jewell worked as a nurse at Sheppard Pratt, was a master bridge player and loved to go out to eat with family and friends.
